These are easy biscuits that don't require rolling and cutting. Dave made these for us with his yummy Jambalaya many years ago. Delicious! The original recipes says to dip into balsamic vinegar and oil. Use cornmeal in place of white flour for a southern version.

Try these with Dave's Jambalaya!

Yields1 Serving
 5 ¼ cups flour
 4 tsp baking powder
 1 tsp salt
 sugar
 ½ cup butter
 ¾ cup milk
 1 egg

Mix dry ingredients, then hand mix in small chunks of butter. Add milk. Beat in eggs and stir until moist.

Drop in pan and bake at 400º 20-25 minutes.
