Dave made this for us quite a while ago and it was very delicious! This is great served with biscuits.

Try this with Dave's Grandma's Tea Biscuits

 2 cups ham or chicken, diced
 2 tbsp butter
 6 slices bacon, cooked & crumbled
 2 cans shrimp (or 2 cups frozen)
 ¾ cup onion, diced
 1 cup celery, chopped
 ½ cup pepper, chopped (green or red or yellow or orange)
 3 cups cooked rice
 28 oz can stewed tomatoes
 1 tsp salt, pepper & thyme
 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
 1 tsp Louisiana hot sauce (to taste)

In a skillet, sauté onion and ham or chicken pieces. Cook bacon separately. Drain and crumble bacon and add to meat mixture. Add celery and sauté for a few minutes.

Cook rice separately.

Combine meat mixture, shirmp, rice, tomatoes and seasonings and heat together for 15 minutes. Add tomato juice if it appears dry.
