This is a frozen dessert that Grandma used to make.

Yields1 Serving
Pastry Crumble
 1 cup flour
 ½ cup soft butter
 ¼ cup brown sugar
 ½ cup chopped walnuts
Strawberry Topping
 2 egg whites
 1 cup white sugar
 1 pkg frozen strawberries (thawed)
 2 tsp lemon juice
 ½ pint whipped cream
Bottom crust
1

Mix flour, butter, brown sugar and walnuts into a crumble. Spread in large cake pan and bake at 350º until golden brown. Cool.

Topping

Whip 2 egg whites and add white sugar. Add package of strawberries and lemon juice. Whip at high speed.

Beat 1/2 pint of whipping cream until stiff and add to egg & strawberry mixture. Scrape onto crumb mixture and freeze. Take out of freezer only minutes before serving.
