We all love Dad's special spaghetti sauce. Every time we see him he makes a pot of it for us. Yum. This recipe makes about 20 servings.
5 ½ lbs hot italian sausage
5 ½ lbs ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, chopped
4 large cans tomatoes (796 ml)
4 tbsp italian seasoning
2 tbsp oregano
2 cans tomato paste
2 tbsp olive oil
1 pkg. spaghetti sauce (Libby's or French's) - the kind that comes in the package or 1 jar Prego sauce
Brown sugar

Brown sausage meat (squeeze it out of casings), beef, onions, garlic & seasonings.

Add all other ingredients and simmer at least 5 hours.

Add brown sugar to taste
