A casserole. Made with wild rice and mushrooms and other things.

Yields1 Serving
 1 cup Wild rice
 ¼ tsp Basil
 ½ tsp Pepper
 ½ tsp Salt
 1 tsp Thyme
 1 tsp Sage
 3 cups Beef stock
 8 Slices bacon
 1 Chopped onion
 ½ lb mushrooms, sliced

Soak rice overnight, wash and drain.

Place rice, seasonings and stock in double boiler and cook over boiling water for 45 minutes until tender.

Chop and fry bacon. Add onions and mushrooms and stir until cooked.

Combine rice and bacon mixtures in a greased casserole dish. Bake at 350º for 20-25 minutes.
