Watermelon, feta and mint salad with grilled shrimp
I found this recipe after trying one that Jillian made which didn’t have shrimp (that one had watermelon and feta and mint), but there was another one with canteloupe, cream and shrimp that was equally delicious. This one has a tangy lime dressing. We had it without arugula but it would be nice with it as well! > view

Valentine Cookies
These are the most delightfully crispy but soft yummy sugar cookies. I first had them when my friend on the ski team brought them to our race. Her mom had made them for all of us to enjoy on Valentine’s Day. (That same mom also made all of us racing suits). I’ve made them pretty much every year since. They… > view

Thai Coconut Curry Shrimp
This is a recipe Winston and Sherri made for us. We tried to use it at our wedding, but in the large quantity it didn’t thicken properly, so don’t try that 🙂 Serve over basmati or jasmine rice with a squeeze of lime and chopped fresh coriander leaves. The sauce can be prepared well ahead and refrigerated. > view

spicy saté chili paste for tasty instant noodle soup
I use this with Pho Ga soup to add the spiciness. It also is great to add in a jar with some cooked noodles and veggies to take for lunch – just add some water. I always add sundried tomatoes as well. From The Happy Foodie (Nadiya’s Time to Eat on Netflix) It’s also great on other foods to add… > view
