Leslie’s sister-in-law Cheryl brought this to my first baby shower. It was delicate and delicious.

1/4 tsp Vanilla
1/3 cup Sugar
1/2 cup Butter
1 cup Flour
8 oz Cream cheese (1 package)
1/4 cup Sugar
1 Egg
1/4 tsp Vanilla
4 cup Apples, sliced thin
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/3 cup Sugar
1/2 cup Almonds

- Directions
CRUST
Combine first four ingredients and spread in the bottom of a 9” springform pan.
FILLING
Cream together cream cheese, sugar, egg and vanilla. Spread over crust.
TOPPING
Place apples, cinnamon and sugar on top of cheese layer. Sprinkle almonds over top.
Bake at 400º for 10 minutes, then lower heat to 350º. Bake for an additional 25 minutes.
