Old-Fashioned Apple Crisp

This one includes oatmeal, which is nice and crispy.

4 cup Apples, peeled and sliced

1-1/2 tbsp Brown sugar

1 tbsp Lemon juice

1/4 cup Water

1 cup Oatmeal

1/3 cup Flour

3/4 cup Brown sugar

1/2 tsp Salt

1/3 cup Butter, melted

  • Directions

Put apples into a 9” baking pan. Sprinkle with lemon juice, 1-1/2 tbsp brown sugar and water.
Combine dry ingredients and melted butter and mix until crumbly, then sprinkle on top of the apples.
Bake at 375º for 30 minutes
