This was a favourite of ours as kids. Dad would make it out of whatever happened to be around, and it always seemed to turn out great

1 lb hamburger

1 onions

2 garlic

3-4 other things that are handy

Fry up the onions, garlic, and hamburger. When the meat is cooked, add the other things that are handy, such as carrots, peas, rice, bits of pasta, a can of tomatoes… whatever your little heart desires.

If you have a non-beef eater like we do, try it with ground chicken or turkey!

Then feed it to the kids and call it Slop. They love that.
