Darcy's sister-in-law Pam made this for someone's birthday once. It was definitely decadent!
1 german chocolate cake mix
14 oz bag Kraft caramels
½ cup evaporated milk
¾ cup butter
2 cups chopped pecans
1 cup chocolate chips

Grease and flour the pan well.
Make the cake mix as directed and pour half the batter into the pan and bake for 15 minutes @ 350º

In a pot, melt caramels, milk and butter, stirring until the mixture bubbles

Pour 2/3 of caramel mixture over baked cake, then sprinkle with nuts and chocolate chips, then add remaining batter, caramel and nuts & chocolate chips on top.

Bake for another 20-30 minutes until done.
